The unknown neutrino mixing angle θ13 is one of the most important goals in current neutrino experiments. For the next generation of long baseline neutrino oscillation experiments, T2K and NOvA, the precise measurement of neutrino-nucleus cross sections in the few GeV energy range is an essential ingredient in the interpretation of neutrino oscillation signals.
